Attracted to the romantic beauty of melancholy, dreams and everything old-fashioned and vintage, I Tanvir is an illustrator in awe of the ethereal. She aims to give an insight into the delicacies of the world and the fleeting moments that carry more depth beneath the surface. She hopes to express her philosophies, identity and love for the ruminative and mystical through her art and writing.
She held her first solo exhibition, ‘Tulu-E-Seher’ (‘Break of Dawn), in 2022 to celebrate and explore Asian literature, music and Eastern mysticism.
In 2023, her work was selected to be featured in The Doncaster Art Fair, and she was also featured in The Holy Art Gallery’s ‘Future Stars’ exhibition in both London & Athens.
